I came to see the doctor re. a mole which I was worried about. I was reassured it was OK, but offered removal at the surgery minor ops clinic which I chose. The only problem was the wait to see the doctor, I was an hour late going in to my appointment, not the doctor's fault, presumably patients not booking a long enough appointment.

I have been with the practice for 25 years and feel extremely lucky when I hear about others struggling to get appointments and experiencing a lack of care at other practices around Cumbria and North Lancs. I think the practice currently is the best it has been over the years.

The care this surgery provides starts with the receptionist and continues through to the doctors and nurses, it is a team which works extremely well to support the local community. I have needed both emergency appointments for my children and husband over the years and we are always seen that day by a doctor we have never had to beg to see or speak to a GP unlike other local surgeries! When attending Park View you are always treated as a individual and both the reception staff and doctors always have time, which is why when surgeries are running late you don't mind because the doctors are so empathetic, thorough, and professional. My only 2 suggestions would be more easy clean toys, books in reception for when clinics are running late, and if possible for the receptionist to advise approximately how long the wait is! Overall this is a brilliant doctors surgery and as a family we would highly recommend you to others as we have done in the past! Keep up the effective team built caring service and thank you!

We joined this clinic 2 years ago on moving to the area, and have found the care and support really good, the receptionists and nursing staff are extremely courteous and helpful, also we have had no problems in obtaining appointments and the treatment has been quick and effective.
